Each airline has different requirements on how soon passengers are required to arrive at the airport for check-in, so be sure to read all available information provided by your preferred carrier prior to travel. Pay attention to the allowable size and weight limits of checked and cabin baggage, together with the types of items which can and cannot be carried on board including dangerous goods and flammables. By researching the requirements before departure visitors can be assured their departure from Bali is as easy and incident free as possible.
In order to access airline check-in counters, passengers are required to enter the secure zone through one of two manned gates - Departure Zone A-B and Departure Zone C-D. Passengers must present their passport and airline ticket to security personnel stationed at these entry points before gaining access to check-in.
Passengers then present at the security zone for security screening and inspection for Liquids, Aerosols and Gels (LAGs). After clearing security, passengers proceed to the immigration counters and present their passport and boarding pass to immigration officials for processing.
Indonesian departure tax is included in the price of the airline ticket so payment is no longer applicable. Once the passport has been stamped, passengers are now cleared to enter the duty-free zone where access to a range of Shopping and Dining is provided including a number of Airport Lounges.
